George Loisos, Susan Ubbelohde and Abe Shameson taught two workshops on state-of-the-art energy efficient lighting design April 13 and 14. Lighting costs U.S. businesses and consumers more than $50 billion each year and accouns for 18% of the total energy use of buildings. These 4-hour workshops explored cutting edge methods and tools available to lighting and other design professionals, and industry representatives to design effective, creative, low energy luminous environments.
