Presentation by Eduardo Pintos, given August 22, 2019 at the 18th Annual Radiance Workshop, New York, New York.

This presentation explained all of the ways in which L+U integrated the daylight simulation program Radiance into the design of the Hill House, a large, complex house for which L+U provided a wide variety of services. The presentation showed the ways in which we used Radiance at each design phase from concept design to schematic design to design development, and covered a diverse range of topics including solar reflections and convergence, sun entry and annual solar radiation, curatorial concerns for art display, electric lighting design, and integration of daylight and electric lighting.
